Studying for the bar exam sucks. I just sat for the July bar and I felt that the book, his blog, and following him on twitter reminded me stay calm and suggested ways to make that happen. I have a history of panic attacks and I was afraid that the bar exam would send me into freak out mode. Luckily that didn't happen. Studying for the bar exam was one of the hardest experiences of my life. Being prepared requires so much more than simply memorizing rules and laws, and I soon discoverd that my nerves were getting the best of me. I quickly found this book, and let me tell you, I'm so glad I did. The chapters on visualization are alone well worth the price - in fact, had I known how much the advice would've helped me, I gladly would've paid much more. The techniques in the book teach you to be calm, confident, and take away so much of the debilitating anxiety that comes with bar studying. If you're studying for the bar and, like me, place huge emphasis on being a first-time passer, you should absolutely consider this book. After reading it I felt like I had a huge advantage on everyone else. I've already recommended it to my friend and classmates.
Glanced through the book briefly upon receipt, and it appeared to be as advertised. Purchased as a gift for a relative who will soon be taking the bar exam.
Excellent read. Quick and easy to read and apply. Neither my bar prep nor tutors ever addressed any of these issues. This is what all bar candidates should read before starting bar review.
