This book has a fast-moving albeit illogical plot line (e.g. like a loving mother is going to subject a beloved daughter to 25 years of abject terror?), cardboard characters, a jerky style (incomprehensible switches between past and present tense, unnecessary repetitions, occasional wild jumps), and an abundance of spelling and grammatical errors (run-on sentences, words missing, inconsistent past-present perfect structures within the same sentence) and tons of homonyms.So why two stars? Because it holds promise! If the author could clean up her plot, dump unnecessary characters and build up needed ones, and get a reliable story editor and copy editor, it could be a good yarn.
Plot line: Ellie has been haunted by vivid and terrifying dreams since childhood and eventually learns that what she has been seeing actually did happen and will continue to happen unless she can put a stop to it. She makes a conscious and powerful effort to learn all the skills she will need to battle an evil and powerful villain. But those skills are not likely to be enough....

I think this book is awesome!!! The characters all fit together with the story and keep you wanting more. I don't want to give anything away but romance and magic work great together!! I couldn't wait to see what happened next.. a page turner. I hope this turns into a series I am already waiting for the next book.
